"Reputation is what other people know about you. Honor is what you know about yourself."

I allow myself little moments of guilty pleasure as I watch the slow-moving wheels of justice grind away.

I don't live for these moments, but I acknowledge them. The world around me lets me breathe while I focus on maintaining my peace. A community that absorbs the weight of the chaos I once held privately and shamefully. It's give and take, as I do it for them as well.

My smile only grows bigger as I celebrate being comfortable with my true self.

(This may be a long way of saying, "suck it," but also expressing the joy for what I have which is so much better than what I've lost.)
