the govt will come for me

sure the gov't. will come for me after this next post, but honestly, the one perk of being unemployed is getting to witness the news in realtime along with all the retired senior citizens out there... here are some of my conversations w/schmeffy and melissa today after watching the comedy hour called "the presidential news conference":

w/schmeffy

me: uh oh, there is a presidential report on, just interrupted tv
schmeffy: really? bout what?
me: he's babbling about how he's going to cut the deficit in half; in the next 5 years... i guess its a comedy act he's trying out
me: his delivery must be much better in order to make it on the stand up circuit

me: oh and iraqi people get to vote in january; "the enemies of freedom know exactly what's at stake when they vote"
me: so basically its vote iraqi people, be free... just remember when you go to the polls odds are someone is going to blow something up... but by allllll means... vote! who wouldn't want to live in democracy!
me: "we have a vital interest in a free iraq"--yes, its called oil
me: poor vladmir putin-- he's missed pronounced his name 10 times now, everytime its different
me: he just said he's working his way through the mass medias ... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
me: PLURAL, not singular

w/melissa:

me: i'm watching this great comedy show called presidiential special news conference... that W is a riot
Melissa: yeah the best part is that he doesn't even have to try
me: ah, deep thought for the day... "polls change, polls go up, polls go down"
me: he just said he's working his way through the mass medias
Melissa: anyone can be president, apparently
me: he just said someone is trying to get him to negotiate with himself in public... comedy central should just air this
me: i'm crying ...he just said "so and so was enriching uranium", then he paused and said or saw to it that the uranium was being enriched
Melissa: i love bushie
me: its not that often that people make me feel better about myself, but he definitely accomplishes that
me: how quickly will the govt come for me if i post this
Melissa: :-D ... political blogs are all the rage

Editorial Control

all i know is that melissa seems to be having some serious fun doing this... now maybe i should've started this when i became unemployed but for now i figured i'd post my roommates reaction to me writing about the people in my life and posting it online:

getting ready to write in my own blog--

me: could you sign a release so you don't sue me when my blog becomes a bestselling book and then a blockbuster film
schmeffy: sure...
me: ok, good, so then i can start writing about you
schmeffy: do i have any editorial control?
me: no, that what the release is for but since you already agreed over im that's legally binding too
schmeffy: what?!?! NO!
me: indeed it tis
schmeffy: what if i ran for president!?
me: too late, should've been more in control of your actions
schmeffy: no no no...cause you cannot prove it is me on the other end. HI THIS IS SAM. I JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW THAT I AM CURRENTLY USING SCHMEFFY'S IM ACCOUNT.
me: too late, i'm already posting your im on my blog
schmeffy: NO!!!!
me: too late; your convo is now a part of the WWW
