With the recent departure of Melissa's weekly blogging, I know you readers are even further pressed for juicy posts. And I'd normally be happy to oblige, but since its 10 pm, and I got out of work less than an hour ago AND wrote my boss a lovely email outlining the ways I'm failing her, I don't have too much to report.
Ok, there's a small white lie in there. There was a date. With a new man. It was good, very good --smut good. Apparently, the news of this has spread like wild fire w/o me blogging about it, so I guess I don't even need to report!
I currently don't plan on setting any expectations for y'all considering the last one turned out to be such a plot twist. We'll all have to wait and see.
In other news, WTF is going on w/Britney Spears? Poor gal.... drugs are bad and all, but there is no need to GI Jane yourself.
Ok, let's see what this weekend holds... right now, the only things on tap are still trying to catch up at work, my taxes (G add, PLEASE--paying someone but have to meet with them), cleaning and a possible "trial-run" babysitting stint with my niece. This means something good has to go down. It's law that you have to have fun at some point on a weekend.
OK, one last thing... I thought this was rather funny:
It has been scientifically proven that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of E. coli bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of Poo.
However, we do not run that risk when drinking wine (or rum, whiskey, beer or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.
WATER = Poo
WINE = HEALTH
Ergo: It is better to drink wine and talk stupid than to drink water and be full of crap. There is no need to thank me for this valuable information; I am doing it as a public service.
Smooch,
G
